There are many different streams and rivers in the Taupo region that fish all year round, from small clear streams to large rivers where thousands of trout enter for there yearly spawning runs.  Buchanan Tackle can offer Half (4-5 Hours) and Full Day (8 Hours) Fly Fishing experiences where everything is supplied - all you will have to bring is your own fishing licence (these can be organised as well) and a willingness to Fish in one of the worlds truely great fishing destinations.

Boat Fishing on Lake Taupo can be arranged with trolling, jigging, harling and fly fishing the river mouths of Lake Taupo. This is ideal for a bigger group or family as most boats can put down 4 to 6 lines from the back of there boats. P.O.A . Also we can do a half day fly fishing and half day boat fishing  package.
